Idea
- bad ideas are the ones that don’t focus on the real problems
- Try to solve your won problem
- Being original
- Niche market can make a lot of money
- Make an idea list, check with them and regularly, like some ideas keeps coming back, while some may not make sense later
- Groupthink can be dangerous as people try to be polite by saying good things only
- Be happy sharing your ideas
Build
- Learn to code online
- Learn by solving problems
- Don’t spend too much time on building at the first time as the product needs to be launched and time to validate the idea
Launch
- ProudctHunt, Hacker News, Reddit
- Be honest, be friendly, less marketing
- Static files are fast
Grow
- Don’t try non-organic grow: bot, buying traffic
- Make feedback easy
- Build in public
- Keep launching. Every two/three months etc., like launching features
Monetize
- It’s not a product if it’s not ready to be paid
- Put a paywall, make it free if no one pays ultimately
- Free for some basic features to attract users
- Sponsership (Ads & Patron)
- Make reoccurring revenues
